    Yes if you put it on you get a -20 alignment but you can make that up easy and the 100 is perm even after you remove the helm!

    No, he means magic aptitude, and how it stays at 100 even if you take the helmet off. It isn't really permanent though. If you start learning tech, your aptitude will go down as it normally would.

    Isn't the dark helm goes with alignment? If you take it off it will becaome permanent.

    I don't know about that but I don't mind. Its not that many y'know unlike the Ancient Maze thing and about the healing problem thing. Over and over through the forum.
