New schematics is possible. In addition to all the original ones, Chris Beddoes added quite a few to Car Arcanum, and I sucessfully added three more to that. They just don't get replaced in the merchants' inventory.

 

What do you mean they don't get replaced, if they are new, why would they need to replace anything? I don't fully understand your sentence.

 

Perhaps I should have been a little clearer on that. The original schematics were assigned inventory numbers and are respawnable. But any new ones are at best rather difficult to respawn. For all intents and purposes, they're a one-shot add-on to a hacked game.

 

So its easier to get Edited schematics right?

 

It all depends upon the hack. Was the new schematics added to a merchant or do you have to kill a hundred pikeys to get at it? Either way, unless you have a drop-in hack that simply changes existing schematics, they have to be individually placed by the modder.
