From: www.bbc.co.uk German man wants state-paid sex A German court has rejected a claim from an unemployed man who wanted the state to provide him with pornographic material and free visits to a brothel. The 35-year-old man took his local authority to court after the foreign ministry refused to pay an airfare for his Thai wife to travel to Germany. He argued that they should compensate him for his lack of sex. But the court in the southern town of Ansbach said such activities should be paid out of his welfare benefits. A court spokesman said the man was planning to appeal. Unfulfilled needs The unnamed man argued that, as his wife lived in Thailand, the local authority had to compensate him for his "considerable sexual needs". The 2,500-euro claim (£1,700, $3,050) a month was to fund weekly brothel trips, eight pornographic videos and transport costs to and from a video store. "I require the brothel visits for my physical and psychological wellbeing," the man said in his application. But the court said social security benefits already covered "everyday requirements". http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/3537071.stm
You know, I'd probably be in favor of a similar system in America if I didn't suspect it would lead to the end of society as we know it.
Nothing at all, as long as it would be forerun by priviliegies such as that. This reminds me... one of the classic greek philosophers (Platon?) wanted women to be common property, ie owned by the state. Seems that people are finally fighting for getting his ideas revived! Rejoice!
In myexperience, the only ways you can tell a Swede (or Norwegian, or Dutch, or Dane, or Icelander) from a native speaker is that their English is too perfect and their accent too unplaceable. They don't make the verbal mistakes that native speakers make, either purposefully or accidentally. The accent is kindof a middle-of-the-atlantic thing, neither quite Brit or quite American. It's damned impressive, but does have to do with the fact that they start learning really young and that all those languanges are quite linguistically similar to English.
I think women everywhere should take note of this - sex is now an everyday requirement. On your backs and spread your legs ladies.
