    My homeland is Norway, not Sweden. But then again, you wouldn't know the difference. And yes, jests should be factually correct, because otherwise they're just asinine.

    Norway and Sweden both seemed to have equal chance of success. I haven't done my research, but aren't their resource pools and comparative business advantages generally the same?

    Norway was bullied by all the other kids until they found oil, now they're on top. During the time of the so-called Swedish "empire", Sweden and Denmark sort of took turns stomping on Norway, they left our loving care as late as 1905. Which they celebrate soundly I might add.

    Actually we don't celebrate that, even though we probably should. We celebrate our constitution, adopted on the 17th of May 1814. Something we also celebrated during the union. We declared the dissolution of the union on the 7th of June 1905, I've never seen any celebrations on 7 June.
