The restrooms in the Mormon visitor center in Salt Lake City are among the best and most luxurious in the world. I considered staying and living in there, but there was no cable as far as I could tell.

Anyway, that church has WAY too much spare cash.

They're the ones that pushed to have the Olympics in Salt Lake City, they wanted converts. Not a very bad idea, go up to a bunch of druken sports fans and tell them they can have as many women as they want, it's bound to boost your following.

You mean like, give up living? Oh, and you said smoke tobacco products. What's the stance on snuff then? I mean, you just put it under your lip, you don't smoke it.

By the way, how come that all of you people seem to be confronted with religious freaks on a daily basis? Sure, the fuckwit-nesses might come around to knock on my door from time to time, but apart from that, I've never really met a religious looney trying to convert me to his Guaranteed True Faithâ„¢. Perhaps I should travel more...

The Mormons may have a very big and ostentatious church here, but I personally have never been bothered by any sort of religious person knocking on my door and trying to convert me.

Also, I don't think the Mormons do that polygamy thing anymore. Wasn't there a Mormon fellow called Tom Green (or something similar) who was prosecuted for it a few years back? As far as I know, they've abandoned that particular tenet of their faith.

almost every morning i can see bands of religious fanatics roaming the streets, looking for a victim... the mormons aren't bad, they're just so nice you think they might be androids, and they'll leave you alone if you ask them to, but the jehovah's witness are just frightening. the easiest way to tell them apart? mormon men wear white shirts, black pants, and a tie. jehovah's witnesses wear full suits. unfortunately, there's no way to tell apart the women, so i just don't answer the door for well-dressed women in skirts...

Is telling them you already belong to their religion a good way of getting them to bugger off?

Yeah, the polygamy thing isn't done anymore. A couple of me mates in high school were Mormons. They weren't ever pushy with their beliefs. Now I work with identical twin red-headed Jehovah Witnesses, and they are pushy.

Not really they just donot talk about it in public. Many Mormons man have mult wifes they take care of. What state is going to qusetion than man who is paying money to support than young woman who have his child too closely as the woman and child arenot on welfare too closely. Tom Green biggest sin was going public about it.

The biggest record of than man haveing mulp wife was than traveling saleman who was than Southern Bap who have other 40 wifes when he die in many different state who where trying to claim his Social Security benfit there might have being more wifes.

Everyone also seems to have forgotten that Muslims do the multiple wife thing as well, and it's legal as well. No court over there is going to punish you for taking multiple wives...all you have to do is be able to afford to keep multiple houses.

In Uath there are woman who arenot marry that have 4 to 6 kids with the same father which is very useally as most unwed mother have kids with different fathers. Alot of these man have many children with 3 or 4 more woman who arenot marry, it doesnot take than rocket sciencist to figour out what taken place. The local and state official know what going on and they are doing nothing which mean multiple wife are ok as long as you donot talk about it in public or do anything which force us to do something about it.

It's not legally allowed in Utah, but it still happens. If they make a huge deal out of it then they might get shit for it.

Or if they start fucking with the IRS, with all their wives claiming benefits. Those are the guys who took down Capone and Agnew, you don't fuck with those people.

It's not legally allowed anywhere in the USofA.Oh, and they took Capone down on income tax evasion, stating that he wasn't paying his taxes, because he was making more than he showed to the government.

surprisingly, no. but jehovah's witnesses don't believe that they're christians... of course, they also believe that only 4400 people in the history of the world are going to heaven, but that you should join their religion anyway...

Actually, the number is 144,000. They believe these select few will reign in heaven as kings, while the rest of the saved will live on earth. Nothing will have changed on earth, but there will be no sin, no crime, no bad stuff happening. Other than that, it will be life as usual. They believe earth is the heaven that they will reside in. (Unless they're one of the 144,000.)
