    Nah when you leave NPC's, no matter where, they always return to where you found them. Geoffrey Tarellond-Ashe goes right back to the graveyard, Dog goes right back to where he was being beaten, Gar goes back to Parnell's. I guess its just so you can find them again if you want them to re-join. Gar won't re-join though :p

    yeah, i know the other NPCs go back, but the whole point of freeing Gar was so that he wouldnt go back there...If he's gonna be anywhere after that it should really be the local bar, or working for someone as a bodyguard or something...

    Oh, by the way, yesterday I had a random encounter with a band of orc-barbarians. Gar is able to wear their armor. That's really a stroke of luck that I encountered those guys shortly after getting so many suggestions concerning the type of armor Gar might wear. X
