Hello, I am new to this board but not new to Arcanum. My character is 25th level and the game now has a bug in it I have not seen before. When I load the game it asks me are you sure you want to quit? When I press no several times it kicks me back to Windows. Has anyone had this problem and how do I fix it? Thanks!
Welcome aboard, Lazarus. I have to be the bringer of bad news here. Your save is corrupt and not much can be done about it. Your game not being as patched as it should be is the reason behind this situation. Either load an earlier save or patch up you game and start anew (avoid mixing old saves with a patched game for they are not compatible). The most bugfree version of Arcanum is 1.0.7.4 (latest official patch) + Drog Black Tooth's Unofficial Arcanum Patch v091225.

Well, there's your problem. The patches are like a house of cards: you have to stack them in the correct order or it all comes tumbling down.
