What are the specs you need for best dialogue options again? To play all possible sidequests, etc.

It's something like max Persuasion (with Charisma, obviously) and 10 Intelligence, isn't it? Maybe it's higher...

High CH + High INT + High Persuasion = Good Dialogue.

I was looking for more specific numbers. I seem to remember someone mentioning, a while back, that you only need 10 IN for its dialogue benefits; and I assume you need full Persuasion (therefore 18 CH).

It takes much more then 10 in a couple of situations, for example convincing the people in the Ashbury town hall.

The 10 probobly got stuck inside your head because...
...you need 10 int to convince Loghaire to return to his clan - or more specifically, to understand the stone and shape philosophy in the conversation with Randver.

It also takes some int to put the crash site camera to good use.

When it comes to deeds that may have very serious implications, resolving the Tarant/Caladon negotiations properly takes maxed out persuasion and charisma.

So basically what Wolfsbane said covers the subject - max out cha, int and persuasion and you will get the most out of the conversations in Arcanum.

Additionally, whenever it comes to negotiating money and prices, willpower and the haggle skill may influence the dialog options.

Some situations require high (or at least not particularly low) beauty stat.

I may be wrong, but I think having an average-high strength and constitution will allow you to work on a ship rather then pay the fee.

CH doesn't necessarily need to be maxed out though, does it? Just has to be 18

    I never knew this.
It's amazing to still be learning things about this game.
    I hope you're correct.

    For best:
    Ch-20
    Int-20
    Persuasion-maxed and mastered
    Beauty(for better reaction)-20

You said that CH 20 isn't necessary, but i must say that in some places it is. If you max it out, you can get 6 followers. And if i remember correctly´, then you need it to be maxed out if you ---SPOILER--- want (K)guy(e)dfg(r)&vfw"(g)sfp3ö(h)w1!(a)edrob.(n) to make a suicide.
Int to get the best dialogue options and lose the wrong ones.
    Beauty for better reaction.
Wearing a Smoking Jacket helps ALOT

--Sry guys, but i still haven't learned to do this spoiler thingy :p

you don't need to have high BE if CHA and IN are high enough. if your character is ugly, but smart and charismatic, the conversations will start with a rude response with the option to ask the NPC to behave in a more civil / polite fashion, thus setting the reaction to the value defined by CHA. being even slightly magickal helps again as the "Purity of Water" spell stacks.

I believe you want the theoretically functional
yea, that one. You have to type in the bracket, type in spoiler, and then ,make the other bracket. I know, it's a lot of work, but so was typing out how to do it for you, so you'd best use it. :)

Did you have the "Disable BBCode in this post" ticked when you made that post?

Is it possible to get all quests in one play-through? It would seem to me some quest branches would be mutually exclusive such that undertaking one might make another inaccessible. I have not tested this, it is just a presumption of mine.

I would venture that the best way to play every quest would be to play through the game multiple times.

Is there a Spoiler button or is it a somewhat manual process to take advantage of the Spoiler functionality?

If you are aiming for all the best endings, you can do it within the same playthrough.

Regarding intelligence: you do NOT need to have 20 IN to get the most out of quests. I finished the game with the best endings and my intelligence was 12 (I was playing a mage, so I wanted 3 spell slots).
