Precisely. Everyone should be dressed in a presentable manner to a massive fireball. It's simply proper respect.

I see. So the US bombed Japan because they refused to adhere to the dress code then?

Just a note: Katanas don't use Damascus steel, they use damascened steel.

Damascus steel is a form of crucible-fired steel that used special (and now exhausted) veins of slightly impure ore (containing tungsten and vanadium among other things) from India that, when smelted into steel, deposited carbon nanotubes throughout the material. In other words, really ancient nanotech weaponry.

Damascened steel, or pattern-welded steel, is what happens when you grab a bunch of strips of different irons and steels and weld them together into a high-quality blade. The steel isn't as good as real Damascus steel, but on the other hand, you can make a sword from it, IN A CAVE, WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!

Logic? It's not logic, it's information!

Information can have the logic attribute, but information is never logic.

I find myself to be quite illogical. Why are we here? How did the Universe come to an existence? It's all pretty illogical to me.

That can only be true if mathematics cannot be perceived as information, which is where your argument fails.

One merely needs to carefully study memetics for the shortest time to realize that the answer is 42. What are you, slow?

Mathematics can be information with the attribute logic, or it can be logic presented in the form of information. There is a difference in the use of the word mathematics in the two cases though.

The answer may be 42, but that's not logical at all.
