How many free followers is avialble in Arcanum? I'm sure that Dog (Worthless Mug?) and Dante are free (doesn't count to charisma limit) but I heard that Jormund from Quintarra is also free and maybe some others?
i realize this is grave digging, but nobody replied and this person might still be waiting for one. i've been playing sense the game was released and completed it countless times. from my experience, i've never been able to have more than 6 followers. that was without any patches or anything, just straight out of the box.
He wasn't asking that, and you can get more than six if you include tech creations, domination exploits, and the like. The characters who don't count against the charisma limit are Dog, Dante, Thorvald, and Jormund. Not counting quest characters like Lady Druella.
Yea, I just finished with a party that consisted of: Sogg Mead Raven Magnus The Dog That Lizard dude The dwarven mage Gar Sebastian (Technologist from the boil) And obviously, myself. High beauty, Maxed Charisma, and Master in Persuasion gave me an army.
Because it mentioned exploits and the like which I didn't use. And although two characters that I listed are ones that he mentioned that don't count against the charisma bonus, I had nine members in all including myself. So there is one character unaccounted for in that assement as far as the charisma count is concerned. That... is why I replied after reading the previous message.
