Franklin and his really poor strength

I think Franklin is great.

But... he's a major weakling.
Which is not really a problem if i wanted him to have a crappy pistol, but for a pyrotechnic gun, he needs MSR11
Are there any tech items that increase strength? :-?

I have heard the machined armour increases str but it does not seem to work on him.

 

I belive there are elixers you can make that boost strenght. I think you find the schematics for them in one of the Dwarven mines ( i think the one that is overrun with zombies). These are only temporary though. Also, in

Vendigroth, you can find a schematic for an elixer that raises every stat by one point permantently.

You can only make one though.

 

1, Why the Pyro gun? He can do a Hand Cannon just great, or a Charged Accelerator Gun, or Bronwyck's Gun. All of which I rate higher than the Pyro Gun.

2, Janya's Elixer of Physical Prowess gives + 2 ST. The Finger Bone of ST. Mannox gives = 1. The Muscle Maker was mentioned by Langolier, it trades IN for ST, but I forget how much.

3, If you are going to boost his ST, why not a Mechanized Gun?

I always thought his low ST & penchant for an Elephant Gun had a lot to do with those crit failures that seem to feature in his stories.

 

Yeah it does seem as if his "adventures" almost always feature the gun breaking at the wrong moment.

I forgot about that schematic in vendigroth, i think you can only make one because one component only appears one in the game.... bugger!

 

The Muscle maker reduces all mental stats by 1 and increases all physical stats by 1. If you use both Elixir of Physical Prowess and the Muscle Maker, you get a combined effect. If you make any more elixirs from Therapeutics that boost ST, you can probably get a combined effect from using them all.
