I wasn't sure if this was the right place to post or not, since there is no Art, Forum Signature, or anything related to it as a section to post in. So I wanted to ask what everyone thinks of my signature I just now created. It took me about an hour and a half to complete. It features a portrait I found on a website that looks alot like me. I cut the person in it out, and put him on my own old photograph image, and put it on the signature. I also created an avatar to go with it, just basically the photograph image with the portrait on it. When I get enough posts, or earn the right to have my own avatar, I'll use it. I don't mind sharing.
General Discussion would have probably been the best place for this. That's actually not too bad a sig, most I've seen (including my own garish first attempt, ask DE) are either too big or an eyesore (mine was both). Sorta bright for a steampunk theme, but meh. Also, did you just quote yourself in your post?
Thanks, Yeah I did quote myself. I figured my sig is a bit bright. But if I make it darker, it'd be harder to see some stuff... maybe I could darken up the edges on the outside a bit. But I don't know. I do like it the way it is. I'll darken it if I get bored of it. But it'll probably be a while. I've been doing graphics since the year 2004. I went to school for it, but not College yet. I'm 24. I'll be going to college soon. As for yours, If you still have the PSD to it, I might be able to retouch it for you, and send it back to you, to see what you think. I usually have some good ideas for revamping projects.
