What I have not seen yet, are mods coming from other countries and with other languages, other than English, French, and Russian.

So anyone who are not English, or French, or Russian, come on and create some mods with your native language.

Example: Frisian, Dutch, German, Japanese, Chinese, etc.

Great idea! I mean, it's not like the mod makers want as many people as possible to play their mods or anything.

On the other hand, a decent module in your mother tongue might come as a breath of fresh air on account for that quality alone. Why the hell must games always be in English? Although admittedly, it would look rather silly having Swedish dialogue and everything else in English...

You could also change the books, skills, and objects in other languages.

So here is the latest news:

Anyone, who have made a mod in other languages, than English, French, and Russian, can place or tell about it here.

It looks like you'll have to search them out.

    Don't fucking doublepost.

Understand this: no one has responded to this thread. Presumably, the number of modders working in other languages than English, French and Russian is very low. Possibly nonexistent. Had there been any such modders working on something reading these forums, don't you think they would have responded by now? Being desperate about it ain't going to help. If you want a mod in your mother tongue, learn WorldEd and do it yourself, that's the best way.

Now, take some time and chill out. More importantly, try to put some more thought behind your post. I'm saying this for your own sake, as I've just appointed Vorak to admin and he's likely to regard a n00b like you as a good piece of target practice. Every forum comes with a certain culture and you'd do well to try and learn it.

Oke, I shall try. What would be your advice then???.

And about the double post, I did that not on purpose.

I know how to use the WorldEd. The Harry Potter mod is cancelled, because I have not much time for making it.

Please tell me the Harry Potter mod was for a Harry Potter game and not an Arcanum mod.

    I'm confused.

Did the Harry Potter mod turn out as an Arcanum one?

Do you mean Harry Potter in the world of Arcanum???.

I wanted to make a Harry Potter not in the World of Arcanum, but in the World of Harry Potter.

Edit: You changed your post while I was typing. Yeah, it sounded like HP in Arcanum. [/edit]

Ok.... Given how much antique furniture and decorations were on display in the movies, I suppose it's possible.

If you have the thing uploaded somewhere I'd love to take a look this.

Mmm...that's strange, It's gone out of mine folder. Oh no...now I remember, I had it on mine old computer, whom I gave to someone else!!!.

That was a slight fault of mine, I pressed the wrong button, but now I have it restored in its old way.

Yes, it is possible to make a Harry Potter Mod, but I think I will start making it again, if I have the other mod ready.

I'm not sure if I like to admit it, but pretty much everything you need to make a Harry Potter mod is already in place in the stock game. You can even go to Hogwarts on a train, as long as you can somehow come up with a script that allows you to walk through walls.

Also, if possible, unsanctioned magick use amongst muggles should be frowned upon, the way it's done in Baldurs Gate 2. Bloody cowled wizards charging money to allow you use your spells in Amn, but it was a nice touch.

    Are you for real?

Yes, I did gave mine old computer away, because I bought then a new computer, and also she needed a computer.

    You mean like a ghost???.

I also still try to find out, how you could learn the spells from books.

There is the Spatial Distortion spell, but that's not quite the same as being able to walk through a wall.

There might be a way to fudge this though. Start with a screen-shot of the wall in question, create a small section you wish to use, convert it to ART, then overlay that onto a doorway (without doors), and be sure to click the "No Block" flag.

NPCs will then be able to pass right through this. If the deed matches the fantasy, then the partial hiding of the NPC's form will help complete the illusion of someone moving through a solid wall.

    Shit, I gotta try this!
