If I tell a follower to leave the group will they eventually leave the spot I dropped them off at? If so, where do they go? Do they go back to the place I picked them up at?
In the time spent thinking this post up, writing it, and waiting for a reply, you could have found the answer out for yourself five times over. If you're looking to get your post count up, go to the "who needs a laugh" thread and submit a god damn joke.
Mostly they go back from wence they came. A few just vanish. Sog will sometimes make it no further than the nearest bar.
this has been partially talked about in the 'magnus the great swimmer' topic. magnus usually goes back to tarant, especially if he is told to wait in the isle of despair. virgil is usually obediant for me but sogg nearly always ends up in a bar unless your in the wild which isnt recommended as anyone is likely to vanish
Had he joined the party? Once, before I sussed out Jormund's free status, I had him wait while I picked up someone elst. He wasn't where I left him, nor in Qintarra. ??? No bars handy either.
ive never had jormund is he the dwarf mage? whats the point he uses twice as much ft , why not just use perriman smithe what ever his name is
Virgil I was in... what do you call it... the town with Murgo. Anyway, I had to get Murgo in my party, but I didn't have enough slots, so I told Virgil to wait (I had very low charisma). I came back a week later, and he was gone. I couldn't find him anywhere. Also, have you ever dominated someone and teleported somewhere? Their hostility goes away, usually! They must really like teleportation. I did this with the eyeglass salesman in Ashbury and came back to find a clone of him once. THAT was interesting, because he killed his double defending me. Something fun to do: abduct absurd numbers of people and take them to arbalah's house or some other tiny location. You can have all the wise women living there. Unfortunately, though, they seem to disappear sometimes. A bear probably gets them.
Hey.... I'm loved! I just thought of something. You know the bug where the wise woman gets more and more money each time you talk to her because of where she keeps her inventory? And you know how you can have anybody as a follower? Is it possible to have that unlimited gold fountain follow you around? I'm not sure if just any kind of "talking" to the wise woman can make her have more money. I'm going to test it. Gee, somebody should hire me to find bugs in games. I'm like a Kender in a Tinkerer's workshop: if there's any way to break it or make it explode, I'll find it! 8) Am I insane? :-? :???: :/
