Is there a way to change the automated leveling for followers? Maybe in a .mes file somewhere? Thanks.
Hmm, the only way that crossed my mind was that if you downolad the up to level 127-mod and open it and change the amount of experience you must have for the next level. But I might be wrong, but try it.
In the Arcanum3.DAT you will find the ai_params.mes in the rules folder. This seems to control their basic behavours and such. In the Arcanum4.DAT is gamelevel.mes, again in a rules folder, which actually sets the leveling and skills the NPCs have. Hope this helps.
That also confused me a little about the unspent points of followers. Why are they not being used? But back to my original question, I'm not necessarily looking to modify the exp value for reaching the next level, but instead what level scheme they use. I'd basically like to turn them all into a gunslinging posse if I could. Can you also change their alignments? I'm getting a little tired of hearing Magnus complain about how mean I am to everyone. EDIT: Ok just read that. So hopefully I can change their level schemes that way. But what about alignment?
Changing alignment without opening the Arcanum map and manually resetting the NPCs plus their level scheme and such? That's something I've never attempted. Hopefully someone like TONGSyaBass can give you a better answer.
