Are fate points stackable ? I.e. may I have 2 and more or it's only one at a time and it has to be spend in order to get the next one ?
ok , thanks. I'll try to. I will use the sole point I've got to open a chest in the Tarant museum and get the map of a place called " The place of voices " or something like that. After that I'll find someone big and ugly to wack for another point.
If you wait, you get in that chest without using a fate point. You do not get them for whacking big fat uglies. On another forum, someone said there are 14 in the game, or perhaps the evil pathway. Eaisest fate point in the game, go up the ladder in the basement of the Bates mansion. :singing: I know a little cheat, unlimited fate points can't be beat....
Well, as spoil season is open, just ask I can list at least 13 fate points you can get. In fact I found around 4 more but I just don't remember how did I get them... For example you get one when you get Cynthia Boggs out of the Isle of Despair! ...yeah, that's a nasty trick, shadygrove! :x :lol:
Where is Bate's basement ? I only saw a first floor and a second floor. I also think that the total number of fate points is probably 10+ , coz otherwise there wouldn't be any use for the two digit space on the fate points menu. When/how could I open that chest without spending a fate point ? I'll become master in lockpicking in quite some time as I don't have Caladon or whatever its name was yet and I'd rather play nice and slowly than give it a rush.
There's a trap door on the first floor of Bates's house that leads to the basement. Or you could enter through the Bates mausoleum in the graveyard. Once you get to the Wheel Clan, you can get a quest from a dwarf there. He'll give you a schematic for a key to open the chest.
Look at 01352CynthiaBoggs.dlg to verify! What? ...maybe you didn't get it right. You must save her from the Isle of Despair! I'm not talking about bringing her to the women encampment. You bring her to Ashbury and there you get the fate point... I not just got it, but also verified the dialog file that controls that fate point.
Is it in the dialog when you pick her up? I know there is a FP there, too many athorites have said so, I just can't seem to get it. At the dock, she says something like; wow, true freedom & splits. Or perhaps it rolls up on the meeter after I leave her presence & am not looking? It is not important for the FP, but for form.
IIRC, there are 23 fate points in the game not counting the cheat. however you cant get them all because some contradict each other
