I have a friend who can only drink milk if it's straight from the cow. The enzymes added during pasteurization make him sick.

Never tried that. Never going to. A glass of milk would pretty literally put me in the hospital.

My ex was lactose intolerant, and I tell you, I'd never realised before how many things have got milk in them. Add to that the fact that the lactose free alternatives taste like shit compared to the real thing (well, all except the tofu ice-cream, which rocks).

But still, your life sucks man.

How does acidophilus milk taste? Anything remotely similar to what comes out of a cow's tit?

You must REALLY be intolerant. My friend can have any dairy product but milk, because the pasteurization is slightly different. Looks like your body hates milk sugars so much it'll strike back with lethal force.

Acidophilus milk is real cow's milk, cultured with the acidophilus bacteria. I guess it's more like yogurt in that respect. What amazes me is that Darkfool can tolerate this type of milk and not any other.

Yeah funny how his body can't handle the sterile version of somethine that is otherwise littered with other bacteria straight from the source.

The Acidophilus we get is lactose-free. I can *tiny* amounts of parmesean and havarti, but if you hand me american or cheddar? a single shaving of it will put me on the toilet chugging pepto bismol and tums. If I've salad dressing or anything that has the *tiniest* hint of cream in it, I'll be violently sick.

You're pretty lucky, then. French and Ranch dressing are gross as hell.

I love a nice ranch dressing. Most nice caesar dressings've at least a dash of it, and, of course, my favorite, blue cheese, has lots of it. Plus cheese. >__<
