To drop my bias for a second, there are a few Fallout 3 voice actors (I don't generally let Liam Neeson fall into the same category) worth their salt. I happened to be playing Operation: Anchorage a few weeks ago, and I just recall General Chase's voice being terrible. The bad timing between words, overly, overly forced voice and all. It was cringe-worthy.

But hell, if you're cutting corners getting voice actors, at least get some impressionists in. They have experience with different accents, tones and contexts. It'd be better than having every black guy sound the same, at least. I vote for the Kurgan.

 

I wish Liam Neeson was my dad, and as for Macgyver, lets not be hasty here, after all I love Macgyver even more than Xiao loves Twilight. I had no idea Richard Dean Anderson was in it, makes me want to play it again.

Fallout 3 and Oblivion both had the fatal flaws of every villager saying the same thing and sounding the same, you would think they could hire maybe one other person who can speak with more than one voice to mix it up a little.

I was fond of the voice acting in Mass Effect 2, it was quite a treat to see a character, listen to them speak and then suddenly go "I know this guy" only to find out it was Martin Sheen etc.

 

I love how everybody MacGyver defeats in that video basically kills themselves through stupidity.

 

Tim Curry has him beat.

 

Tim curry is also alot as well. I enjoy Tim's work as well but Crispin voice-acted alot of my favorite characters.



EDIT: Tim has done only around 7 video games where as Crispin has done over 60 games.

 

Now that's how you knock a guy out Mcguyver style.

Tim's done 17 games and out of the 72 that Crispin has done 20 have been "Additional Voices."

 

between the two, Crispin only does voice acting, thats all. Where as Tim is mainly an on screen actor.

 

Everyone loses because no one's mentioned Ron Pearlman.

 

Ron Perlman is awesome.

Crispin Freeman voiced Delsus in AI:EM. He is automatically AWESOME for being able to deliver some of those lines without cracking up.

 

Only Ron Perlman can play Hellboy and do it right.

Crispin's voice over for Ebisu(closet perv) in Naruto was also flawless.

 

Nothing, NOTHING related to Na-fucking-ruto can be flawless. OhgodIhatethatshowsomuchIcan'tevenverablisethehate.
