    Elk.

Elk, I say, proud and majestic Swedish elk - not moose. (That's some Canadian crap. I think.)

Sod it; off to the pub for me.

WOW! That moose was PISSED! Note to self: Stay away from Canada.
Of course...if my six foot tall kid was adjacent to some poor sod in a parka, I'd kick the guy's ass too.

If I had a 6ft tall kid I'd like to assume that they could defend themselves.

Otherwise they should be shot. Anythng over 6 foot that does not defend itself is nothing more than a pussy.

That moose(or elk) that was in there wasn't even a male. It was a pissed mother trying to protect it's child. And i was referring to the much bigger males:)

Personally I would rather to be in an enclosed area with a crocodile than one of them, they look a lot meaner, tougher and smarter. Never did I thought a moose was that big.

Under the 17th century the swedes tried to tame them and use them as an "elk cavalery". No need to say, it didn't work, but it was a good idea:)

Once again, man foiled by an animal.......leading to our demise as a species.

I've seen one of these massive bull moose.
    Here's a picture
    [IMG]
It's on http://www.Ebaumsworld.com. If he's removed the picture link, just go to the website and search for Mammoth Moose.
By the way, I was poking fun at the female moose for trampling over some guy that was within 30 feet of her calf.
It's true about anything over 6 feet tall being a pussy if they can't defend themselves.

Imagine a cavalry force riding those!

They'd nearly beat my executioner elephants.

Imagine how little a platform-bound catapult could do against that sonnova.

Or, they'd just lob it back on the catapult.
