Error on start up

hey I just reïnstalled arcanum after some period.
I have installed it and updated it to 1.0.7.4. and when i run it I get this message
"ERROR
unable to load: FT_thunk(kernel32.dll)"

I have winxp but it keeps crashing everytime I run it so I put compatibility on win98 and I got the error
the game worked on my old pc with win98
any thougts about this 1?

 

For some reason, Arcanum does not seem to be compatible with XP. Try just playing it on your Windows 98 system. I have ME on my PC and Arcanum worked.

 

Nonsense, Arcanum runs like a dream on my XP machine.

Wow, that was really subtle. Is case you didn't realize, I am a MODERATOR. I can't mess around with all the scripts and stuff, I can MODERATE. Why don't you just only hit the post button once instead, like everyone else does?

 

Da's geen slecht plan... moet ik weer effe zwaar van hack-en-stein.

Edit: It seems we already have a 15-sec limit set. Not sure if it works properly though.

 

I allready found out that you where a mod
and your rank says that

will try to press the button only once, especially when my dad wants and it won't load the next screen
