I don't think Russia has the economy needed to survive ANY war with America, especially not a nuclear war.

 

They economy is in better state than our as they still manufactory they own goods and heavy industry to make steels and other just good.

While in America almost very goods is make in China of elsowhere.. My feeling the America military will depose of Bush to prevent than nuclear war.

If Mexico invaded, we wouldn't bomb our own cities. We'd bombard Mexican cities with both naval and air power. In a matter of days, Mexico would be without communication, electricity, water, and industrial production capabilities. This in addition to their army being raped by the American army would quickly cripple their ability to wage war. If you think we are spread too thin to survive a two front war, you are wrong. I'd say that the American war machine is running at about 5% capacity right now. An invasion on U.S. soil would just increase the utilization of military forces without putting any real strain on them. The economy would remain stable, and any cost incurred to the U.S. would be taken from Mexico as reparation for unlawful war.

As for Iran, I figure they'd last maybe a week longer than the Iraqi military did. Maybe not. If Pakistan tried to join the fight, they'd have Israel to deal with. I doubt Israel would hesitate to use its considerable air power on military or civilian targets.

This is just my conjecture. There are people at the Pentagon who get paid way more than me to come up with strategies to overcome any possible contingency. Sorry Chucky boy, but your dreams of a foreign army parading through your homeland are just that. Dreams.

 

Russia must not have good economic for war. Althought Soviet Union was mightier than Russia 5 times, Russia even now have enough nuclear missiles to kill anybody who will try to invade. Nobody doubts America and China also has enough. If there would be some war, it will be short and there will be only one country.
And, Charles, are you sure Russia economic is in better state than US? Have you lived in Russia for many years?
USA has huge debt, but there is wise saying: "If you owe your neighbour 10 roubles, it´s your problem. If you owe 10000000000 pounds, it´s neighbour´s problem".

we might tax foreign companies with an outside labor base, but the government is living off big-business bribes right now and letting all our home grown corporations, like Ford and Dell, outsource to third world countries. granted, it's great that we're employing half of India. but it'd be nice if some of our own citizens could get off the unemployment list...

As I know many Japanese Companies set their work base in China.Such as Bandai,Gainax(maybe you havn't heard),even Square-Enix employees Chinese Studio to make CGs and movie.
In China we often complain that foriegn factories bring polution and why best goods is used to export.

 

Well, each country that has poor neighbours benefits from this outlander´s labor force. Western Europe has a lot of workers from Eastern Europe, USA has some workers from Cuba and other Carribean and Central American nations, Russia has a lot from countries of CIS (I don´t mean Russia is very wealthy, I mean other countries of CIS are extremely poor).
