I recall finding this file in the "data/Players" directory of Arcanum.

I can't find any mention of it on google. What the hell is it?

 

I don't have this file in my installation, which version of Arcanum do you have? gog.com?

I have the retail version on the other computer, which also has it.

On this computer I recently downloaded and installed the GOG version. It is there.

 

I didn't see that text until I had to buy the GOG version, so I'm guessing it's a newer "thing". It really serves no purpose.

 

I need confirmation on whether or not it's on the retail installation. <.<

And by that I mean, unpatched, clean install.

 

No, not on a clean install. Anything after 1074 for sure. I don't remember it being there when I still had my install cd's. My most recent disk installation was less than one year ago, eh.txt wasn't in the data folder.

 

I have original game, drog's patches, official patch and i don't have this file.

 

It isn't a new thing. My current installation is from a rather old pair of CDs and I always had this file. Might have something to do with the multiplayer, which was hardly working in vanilla Arcanum.

It's always a shame when quality content ends up unused in the final product.

 

I always had the eh.txt, not sure about these beautiful art though.

 

I have this file. I just assumed it was something the developers threw in after they'd finished as a kind of 'and that's the end of that chapter.' *tosses scarf over shoulder*
