Hey, Gross - I thought you was the foreigner?

Anyway, to a normal Scandinavian (that would almost certainly be me) peanut butter is the disgustingest stuff there is (yes, I used Swedish grammar for a bit there).

Ham 'n' cheese is for "småfrallor" (sort of bagels?) though - not for toast. Except the cheese.

Mesost? I've eaten a lot of messmör, but no mesost. Is that like the Norwegian cheese which taste like messmör?

It is? Oh, then I actually have been eating it. It was during my one-week-torment in Norway.

Messmör ("wimp butter" ...) is the Swedish equivalent of peanut butter. (As long as we go by colour and consistency.) Tastes much better, though.

I prefer the Gammeldags kind of it though. It's without that disgusting vanilla-flavour they insist on putting in it.

I don't eat messmör, but it's sure better than peanutbutter any day of the week.

Pity here in Aus we couldnt get some decent cheese at a descent price. The drought has put prices up for a start and the exported stuff is too expensive. Usually the best cheeses require a 3 hour trip to a good delicatessen in the city...

Theres a deli in Canberra I go to whenever I can, I've never been able to come up with a cured meat or cheese that they don't have.

Toast should have Jarlsberg cheese and tomatoes.

Yuck. Tuna isn't that good on toast. On the other hand, the only "vision" I have of you is a cat...

I like tuna, but in some sort of tuna salad style dish. Yummy.

And mackerel is tasty, and bass, and pike, and halibut, and time to go grocery shopping any minute now.

    *Looks at dry riverbed*

I don't think drought would allow for that Xz.
