Indeed you have, my friend. I'll take one large wad of cash, if you please, or I'll be forced to start looking for your wife's e-mail address.

Are you implying that retard is married and are you also implying that you a sheriff would tell someone the truth without the posibility of a blackmail

planescape was good. you cant really play it more than once but thats because its so story based which is one of its things.
Maybe they should have done a story for NWN, instead of using the Diabo story.

Funny you should say that. Someone is making a persistent world for NWN based on the Diablo setting.

There is also a PS:T mod going on, I think.

I wonder how many of these grand mods will come to anything.

You wouldn't....... Heh. It wouldn't matter anyway. My wife doesn't read my email, and besides we are cool with that whole, "Lookie no touchie" thing.

Well, except that it's kinda weird to be talking about a computer animation's jubbleez.

There is a kind of dual effort, but they've fallen out, so it seems to be two seperate efforts:

    Sigil

    Planescape: Sorrow

There also seems a small mod of something called "The Lady's Maze"

Nah. it is impossible to pay any attention to FFG when standing next to AnnaH (stress on the "H").

VHailor was annoying, really. All he ever does is tell you that you should do this, do that. My favourite party was Dak'kon, Morte, Annah, and FFG.

Sorry, you never ever get to see what's inside. I don't think I'm spoiling it for Jar, actually it's saving him a darn lot of time (i did what you did, then got fed up and pulled up an FAQ)

0:) "A lady must have her secrets" 0:)

I saw the screenshot some time ago and...ewww. Well I would be happy if it comes out but I haven't got my hopes up too high. I downloaded a mod titled "LoTR", and all I saw were hobbits walking around, with nothing to do - when you load up the screen it says "Hobbiton" and that's it. The author says it's under construction tho.

Planescape: Sorrow. hm. Can't decide if I like the title. Oh, darn it, I do. It fits with "Torment" anyway.

    Ok, I ate my “hs.

Maybe, if you are the kind of guy who likes women fresh out plastic surgery’s clinics and without any of their original components.

Yes, he is annoying, but that’s the point. He is not the kind of char that just follows you. He has a strict view of the world and is willing to prove it to you with his weapon.
    I… wanna… kill… you… maybe Jarinor could:
    1) discover something that none of us knew.
    2) waste 87 hours.
Either way… I… oh, well! Never mind then.

Just how big is PS:T? Something you can complete in a night, or something that will take you at least a week of dedicated playing?

Also, given the storyline, is there any chance of a sequel?

Hmm... certainly not in one night. I would say it’s about the same size of Fallout 2 (maybe a bit smaller but with way more text).

YES (and sadly, no). Can’t explain much more. Unfortunately I don’t think there will be any sequel.

It was mentioned (by Chris Avellone I think, one of BIS anyway) that Planescape: Torment actually sold better than most think and that a sequel was raised. It was just an "hey, that'd be nice", as opposed to a "hey, let's really do a sequel" though.

My view of the possible chances of a sequel is this:

from my (admittedly limited) knowledge of Fallout2, the ending was unique. you were cast out by the tribe you tried so hard to save. No doubt gamers will remember this ending as one of the most imaginative ever thought up, primarily because it does away with the traiditional "and he lived happily ever after" scenario.

BUT a sequel would be possible - Fallout3: the next leader of the tribe emerges and find the lost vault-dweller (or whatever it is you call him). Or it chronicles the life of the hero from FO2. whatever. FO3 could have a happy ending, or another unique sad ending. whatever.

if the ending was good in FO3 people would be saying "hey, you spoilt FO2's uniqueness!". if it were sad people would exclaim "hey, not again?"

That's the way i feel about PS:T. there is room for a sequel. definitely someone would be able to come up with a suitable premise. But as much as I love PS:T and would like to see a sequel, I *know* ( <= trying to be Dak'kon  ) that the ending in PS:T was sufficient. It was excellent, especially when you remember that the title is "Torment".

But aw heck, bring on the sequel, I wanna see Annah and FFG again!

    C'mon, twasn't her fault. 3D art wasn't exactly cutting-edge then.

So Jarinor when are you getting the game again?

Now that's the most interesting bit of news I've heard today. Any links?

Actually, Fallout ended with you being cast out. Fallout 2 started with you trying to save the village that the guy who was cast out founded. Obviously, you had to save them...there's more than enough room for a signal in my opinion.

I was supposed to today, but my friend didn't bring it, and probably just as well, because I'm pretty busy with uni work till the 31st, so I'll get it after that. I joined another forum specifically to see if I could get a copy off someone else, then I found out that I could only access that particular board after being a member for 90 days! Needless to say I'm not happy about it.

She's tough as shit. I am only like a 9th level mage, I think because I have a large party, and the exp. points are spread pretty thin. She killed two of my party afore I was able ta take her. I don't have that many "good" spells. Well, there are some pretty good spells I want to buy from this guy, don't remember his name, anyway, I am seriously short of cash. How in hades do I get money? I have pretty much done all the quests there are to do at this point. Does sending Anna to steal money take off of the Nameless One's alignment?
