    Hey i just made a necromancer/force mage in an attempt to unlock the dread armors secrets ... if there is any ..... there is a book on dread armor in the tarant library that describes it containing element of dark necromancy and force as well as some elemental.......i havnt put ne points in elemental but i do have unlock cantrip ... Is There Nething To Dread Armor? :eek:

    I think it's just referring to the way it's forged. It has a fairly high magick resistance, as well as incredibly high hit points.

    As far as I know there are no 'secrets' to the armour. I guess it's just an added bit of depth put there by Troika. If there is any magick to it, then when it's equipped, the blue magick button on the left side of the quick slots should be active.

    I think it lends power to Dark Necromancy when you use it. But I dont know for sure.

    No, nothing special except its kinda cool to be wearing armour thats thousands of years old and stil be able to fight well.

    I never liked the dread armour though. For only a bangle and a codpiece it takes up way to much room, and it lowers peoples' reactions to you too!

    Its because Dread Armor makes you look lik a barbarian and civilized people hate barbarians. Look at the opening diolauge when you first click on a NPC.
