    Roji

    Jonan

What do those words mean? Roji seems to be "Tea Garden" or something but Jonan I'm not sure on. Are they actually Japanese words at all?

According to this site they mean:

Roji: The bare ground -or- alley, alleyway, lane

    Johan: Trouble with women

Why, you having trouble with your mail-order bride?

Perhaps, but I have a feeling that a Japanese prostitute told him off by, apparently, saying that he has trouble with women in the area of pleasuring, and that his personality is about as dynamic as a bare floor.

I'm not sure as my Japanese is a little rusty, but I think she was saying,

"You want boom-boom on ground, you pay extra!"

Roji means alley. What was the context in which those words were given?
Jonan seems weird, but to be honest, I'm not very good at interpreting romanicized japanese words.

Well that sucks. The context of the words was me trying to come up with a name for a race of people. I wanted something Japanese sounding and was randoly typing letters and ended up with those two as possible candidates. Though the "Trouble with Women" people and the "Laneways" has a kinda ring to it.

Thanks for the link to the translator though. I was looking for something like that but couldn't find one that returned anything worthwhile. That one will come in handy.

Well, I have that bookmarked! Of course, now I have something else to drown myself in when I feel bored, but not so bored as to get productive.
