Does any body know how to put armour on?

This probably sounds like a stupid question, but I was playing Arcanum and I bought some chainmail but I can't put it on.

Can anybody help please?

 

There are sizes...medium, large, and small.....what race are you playing?

I was playing a human in the demo version.

 

Are you serious? Well I'll play along. Go to your inventory L click the armor and drag it to the right drop it on the torso outline of your pc

Is the armour too heavy? Is there room for the old armour in inventory?
