Do Jayna's elixirs work for characters with high magic apt?

Does the effect of the elixirs from the Therapeutics discipline depends on the magic aptitude of the character, and if yes, how? Does it give less bonus, or lasts less time?

 

I don't have an idea, but I gave a Vivifier to Arronax (the vivifier should surely be the most tech therapeutic) and his stats got as high as anyone else. But as 3 Bludgeoners saw him as a good training target he couldn't make it to Kerghan's chamber...

I'm sure those things work on magic users... but it surely has some bad thing... like you've said it'd last shorter...... I don't know.
