    Quoting one liners the post before maybe, but what if you want to outline particular parts of someone's post and address multiple points separately?

    There are too many situations where I feel it could be warranted but there are others it's just plain stupid.

    I absolutely support the quotation of the previous post if used to break out specific points or to unearth a single particular point in a post of considerable length.

    Awww I was and am half asleep leave me alone... that's not an excuse is it? Damn.

    No button wont stop people from doing it just stop most people being bothered to do it.

    I never use the button, myself - I go straight for the tags.

    Xz: Sometimes even the delete button disappears and/or unclickable.

    Not for me it doesn't. But for you, yes it does. It disappears as soon as someone replies to your post.
