Discussion of the new FAQ

What's the cut off date set to? I see anything that has a last post in may is still goatse free, but anything from april has that awful image.

 

What, 99 out of 100? Is it just me, or doesn't goatse seem weak already? I mean I've seen it so many times, and there are loads of worse stuff. Goatse is like a good old friend by now. The Internet can make one immume to everything. Even the once shocking pain series on Encyclopedia Dramatica isnn't impressing anymore.

 

Why don't you cook up a nice little piece of php that replaces the "reply" button with a "quote" button on any thread older than 45 days?

 

I just saw the goatse picture, and the first thing I thought was: "Oh, well...okay*" What about the picture of the (in)famous vagina wall?

* I am one of those, who became immune to such kind of pictures.

 

Good point, I just wish there was some way we could see those poor little bastards faces as they get their first exposure to goatse.

 

That is indeed a good point. Also, is there any way to make a picture of their faces, when they saw that?

That picture was one of the first things I saw in TA when I was still an unregistered lurker. Sadly nowhere near as shocking as the first time I saw it.

 

Hmm...probably not the best time for me to have seen that, since I'm eating...yet I'm still eating without a care. How confusing.
