If you are fighting orcs or half-orcs and use the Disarm spell on them... their weapo drops and they cant inflict any damege on you(and i mean ANY!) when they hit you you recive only 0 damage! i bet you didnt know that! :smile:
That usually applies to skeletons. Half-orcs and orcs usually have pretty high strength, so they CAN still do unarmed damage. Try telling the people that they've killed that fighting unarmed doesn't do shit :smile:. Could be that your damage resistance just nullifies the damage they do...
Fair enough. It only applies to certain characters though. Some people can still rip you up unarmed (take Automatons for instance).
yes i know... humans and elves can be pretty tough even unarmed. especialy elves because most of them have magick...
No, I mean plain fists can still hurt you plenty! Check out the gnome guarding the Clan Maug building...he's one tough mother fucker...
a little gnome with a 2 meter (that about 7 feet I think swrod!? gimme a brake. the same goes to one of the gladiators in the isle of despair pit.
I thought that the little gnome was unarmed... Yeah, that is a little ridiculous, but what are you going to do about it?
i found another cool thing about the disarm: i went to the boil(near it) and attacked those orcs/half-orcs who stand there with the disarm spell... they attacked me and the gaurds defended me. (and you said that the gaurds are worthless!)
I now know the secret of entering the Boil peacefully...there is a way just to waltz right in and out in broad daylight without being attacked... It's taken me a long time to discover, but Jason What's-his-face, the guy who did the Arcanum journal was right - there is a peaceful way, and as soon as you realise what it is, you wonder why you didn't think of it before...
