    Or somehow you would fell into the reality of the game, equipped with lots of cursed thing, maximal encumbrance, surrounded by lots of heavy enemies, only with Virgil to heal you. And you would have 100% technical aptitude.

    probably a glitch that makes you get a random battle every friggin' second on the world map.

    Chest contents are linked to your name and Race.
    My 1/2 elf 'Draco' always starts with charmed Plate at the crash site and can always find a suit of Arcane Plate in a barrel by the second entrance to Naz's tomb in the sewers under Caladon.
    Sometimes your background can also change the contents but not always. Itr would be interesting to find out which chests are affected and what factors actually influence these chests.
    I know of three
    Chest at Crash site.
    Chest in Shrouded Hills Mine and
    Barrel in sewers under Caladon.
    Anymore ????

    Not sure about the name (I have russian names of characters), but it surely depends upon background. I think the worse is the background, the better would be items in chest to "compensate" your mental/physical character impotency.

    Its not always there. I've found Arcane platemail in the Tarant sewers. As best as I can tell, name, race, background and gender predetermine what is in chests.

    I thought this also but start with the same character with the same background and just change the name you still end up with different treasure. I think it's to do with all 3. Race, name and background.

    I translate 'lool' to 'fuun'
    That is more because the dutch word for 'fun' is 'lol' (look it up in a translatormachine) :)


    In my beginning of geekhood, I kept on wondering why every1 spoke a word dutch :lol: :roll:
