Did Chris Beddoes ever post any proto editing info?

I am curious, since his mods seem so extensive, it seems he must have access to a lot of info that is not in the "Proto Editing" docs posted here.

I want to do something simple, like adding a script and an effect to Absinthe so it gives thieves a Lockpicking bonus when consumed. But I can't find any way to do this.

I was thinking of using Wine as an example proto, since it is a food and has a script and an effect when consumed, and trying to edit a copy of it (and add new scripts and an effect entry) accordingly to make it into a thief-assisting Absinthe, but the wine proto is significantly larger than the absinthe proto and I can't help but wonder what all the extra bytes are for - surely not just for the one wine effect.

Wine doesn't have a script attached. It only has a spell.

It's pretty hard to describe accurately what to do to add scripts to protos. Next time I do some hexxing I'll write you a detailed descriptuion on how to add scripts to protos.

I've tried a couple of times to contact Chris but I've had no success.
