If you did, what are the CH and persuasion levels required to get him by solving the Bedokaan thing peacefully? How good is he as a bowman? And is he too magic or is it safe to give him a Pyro bow?
I know that. The big question is how exactly do you do it. I tried with charisma 12 and persuasion 2 expert+elixir of persuasion. I got to ask a question about "the ways of cold bloods" but Kan-Kerai didn't want to tell me. How high should it be?
If you have high enough ch, any char but human and you can talk to the leader without him ever bringing up the poachers.
Damn, and I thought since he's an expert archer he could be useful... Can he at least use a pyro bow? Or is it too much of a tech weapon for him?
I think it may be too tech for him, though I meant he's useless if you have alot of people in your party, he might be more useful if you didn't have but two or three guys in your party, the only reason being a master helps is not hitting you or your own party, he still does the same damage, and good bows are hard to find. You could possibly outfit him with that one elf's bow, or you can also (if you are a gunslinger or throw type) try and force the szabo ruins and get the bow from there, then outfit waromon with that. Although if you were a long range character, waromon is less useful...it just depends on how bad you need a party member.
He's supposed to shoot faster being an apprentice and shoot two arrows in one shot being an expert (which he is). Ellumun's bow is good since its fast, and 10-20 isn't such a bad damage with two arrows a shot (20-40, like an elephant gun). If he can use a pyro bow without shooting himself in the leg he might be useful after all... Or that is my guess before I saw him in action.
If your character isn't evil, eventually you'll find Waromon trying to kill you! He's an evil character, but if you're good you can have him too, the problem is that he gets upset when you do good things. And he's a really good character, at least can attack from long ranges... give him the Bow of Ecclesiastes, it almost all the time does Critical Hits!
I got the lizard dde while being human, but I also had 5 persuasion and 20 ch along with master of persuasion. I remember the dialog had stuff about how different humans had different hearts, asking something about if the elfs ever hunted them, and telling them the views of the elves in general, but not necessarily in that order. And I don't think that he was all that good, I ended up dumping him for raven.
It takes presuasion 3 or maybe more. He is fun to have around, but I don't remember him as evil. He left my evil Elf when she hit 100% evil. He gets way too magic for the Pyro Bow, but not for a ballanced Sword. BTW, his own Bow of Terror sucks. Give any magic archer 1) The Helm of Yacazar's Cost, 2) Elemun's Bow, 3) Guantlets of DX, 4) Enchanted War Boots, & a LOT of arrows. I have a tech archer who mostly uses Elemun's Bow for its incredable speed.
