    no, i havent played female yet, but ill do it some time, i'll also play good and evil sometime, now ive just been playing neuteral.....

    Get Min's quest but do not visit Stillwater just yet. Stillwater, or wholehearted agreement in T'sen-Ang, puts you on the evil plotline. So take the (lie) line & you can follow the good plotline to Thanatos & Tulla. Then pay your visit to Stillwater.

    Did you go though the whole game with all those characters? In that case, that's imressive! I've only beaten Arcanum 3 times this far... guess I've got to polish that number up.

    Oh, and that means that you've played elven technologists and dwarven mages, doesn't it? I once made an elven gunslinger, who actually turned out to become quite a fearsome fighter. I haven't bothered going further than Tarant with a dwarven mage though - double fatigue is nasty.

    Only three times? I've beaten the whole game in one day. Last summer I played lots.....

    Well, I've only gone through the whole game with three characters, but I've created vast armies of temporary ones, mostly to try out new character concepts. Guess I am like that. I can create a character, play for a while just to get dead tired of that character and create a new one.

    I know. I'm weird. No need to tell me that.

    I believe you can, I think with the exception of pick pocket because the trainer is a bastard you only need above 4 points in the skill. 5 points in firearms -2 1/4 point penalties = 4 1/2 points. You should be good.

    I've never beaten the game as a dwarven mage. I keep getting beaten early on, but I should try again. If you could get past that little early game hump and get them to level 20 they could make decent battle mages. They have an extra Cn, which barely compensates for the double fatigue, but with staves it's not as bad. They have an extra St too so they can deal more damage with a magic sword. They still wouldn't match Half Ogres battle mages though :D :) .

    I've done elf techies and half elf gun fighters, never an elf gun fighter. Don't know why, just haven't. Maybe next time. I'm trying a guy right now, into all types of poisons. Problem was he got all the poison skills so now he's learning all the Chemistry and Theraputics tree, if he has time I'll give him the more Cn, in the anti poison stuff idea, and herbology. Maybe some general heal skill too. Make him a doctor.

    I'm the exact same way. I love coming up with new characters, but I get tired of playing them after only a short while.

    I finished playing through with adwarven mage about a month ago. He was evil and on the sold your soul background for the +20 magic aptitude bonus. He knew all of the spells in conveyance, force and mental as well as some in Earth and Fire. I forced Tulla so that I could master Force, this cut the fatigue back to the regular stats (so it cost 50 to do disintigrate) however I could still do wall of earth for fewer fatigue points than wall of force. I armed him with the 6 arcane staffs I got for Killing every inhabitant of Tulla after I got my training, plus with dexterity at 20 and mastery of Mellee and Dodge he was pretty powerful. I teamed him up with Virgil, Geoffory, and later on Torrian-Kell.

    The only down side was that once he got the butcher of Stillwater background he was so hated that he couldn't walk into town without a smoking jacket and the jewel of Hebe without being attacked.

    the enterance to the pit is 7 screens to the left ( when faceing the pit) then go up about 12-13 screens and you will find a secret pasge in the ground. the reast of the way through the maze underneath is your problem cause i dont now it off my head right now.

    well i have beat the game with a mage of every type and race. even a dwarf mage. and ive also made many tecs. ive beaten arcanum about 30-35 times give or take a few. dwarfs are my favorite they are good at alot of stuuff. plus they can get Iron Clan Armor and Iron Clan Hammer from the Anciant Iron Clan cave. there is also a seceret Iron Clan automation scillmatic which you can get only if you are a dwarf. you have to use the Durin Stone. well i am here for help if needed.

    Seceret Iron Clan Automaton schematic? Who, wah? How? Use the stone? On what? Does the automaton actually work, or is it lke the machine gun automaton or arachnid physician?
