hey, im new here and i joined because i have a question. i know its possible to have dedicated arcanum servers with persistant (i think thats the word) online worlds. my question is, do they exist and where can i find them? i played arcanum when it was first released, got to vendigroth and solved the damn puzzle in tulla, when my father promptly erased the hard drive (it was unintentional but that didnt protect my save game file). foward in time to December 2002, after about 6 months of constant online play in Battlefield 1942 i decided to return to arcanum and finish it off (im now lvl 43 and searching for the vendigroth device again). all this single player has whetted my appetite for multiplayer goodness. please help me find that goodness, thanks.

Yeah, don't use white text. On a white background it becomes really hard to read. As for your question, as far as I know, no persistent world servers exist for Arcanum. If you want a persistent world, play an MMORPG. Besides, multiplayer sucks, and you'd have a hard time finding anyone to play with these days...or ever for that matter.
to me the white font is much easier to read (i see only black and red backgrounds, no white), but whatever. about servers, well i just assumed multiplayer would be more fun than single (like every other game i know). thanks for the advice. to snowmane: i live in Damascus. if you dont know where that is its in montgomery county. if you dont know where that is you dont live in MD.
