You know, I had that sneaking suspicion myself. But I had just seen it on a news website and thought it was hilarious that some inmates, who are paying to post their profile, are scamming their pen-pals.

It may have been in the same thread as the STD dating service link.

STD Dating Service sounds like a pretty responsible idea, to me, since you really can't catch HIV twice. Might as well date other people with HIV.

 

That's very true. I laughed at the idea at first, but when I realized these people simply didn't want to get other people sick I thought it was rather humanitarian.

 

Ahem, though Meet an Inmate does look like a better website than Women Behind Bars admittedly. I like Tiffany; "Occupation before prison: Entertainment industry" - stripper or postitute is my bet.
