Well.... I have seen DF driving a new car.

    I'm just sayin'.

I'm more curious who the doubter was and what holes DE is going to ask said doubter to touch to prove he's really alive.

Yea, but since they're the same person, that's just masturbating.

That was Judas, for betraying Jesus to the Romans.

It wasn't the Romans he betrayed Christ to, it was the Jews.
The Sanhedrin to be more precise.

So I guess that means that Chris Beddoes is not actually dead?

    Not cool, man.

So you want him to actually be dead? That's a bit harsh don't you think?

    I just had a thought.

You only need 300 followers to create a religion in the USA.

How many of us are there?

More than 300? Are you planning to start Arcanism? Or The Cult of the House of the Lords?

You only need two in Norway. Someone tried to start one with only himself, but the government decided you needed at least two persons to make a "society".

Hmmm... what are the benefits for starting a religion, exactly? Is tax exemption involved?

One of the benefits would be that you can have many wives, because that's a part of the religion.

Since the only people in the newly founded religion would be me and Xz that's a rather moot point. I was rather thinking in economic terms, including intricate tithing schemes to hide away serious money from fiscal authorities and so on.

You could build a temple, where people can stay to sleep or praying, and for that they have to pay some tithing.

BTW: You are not taking followers then?

You could also round up as many homeless people as you can find and promise to give them a hot meal as long as they agree to get on their knees and beg...I mean pray for it each time. Now you have your own religion.

You probally need a sermon writer, and a high priest as well.

I think the economic benefits include tax refunds in your collections, funding for charitable events, things like that. You do, however, have to declare what you do, like festivals and things.
