Wow. I remember playing that game when I was younger and feeling completely overwhelmed.

I once read about the game and it was nicked Buggerfall because of the insane amount of bugs, making it practically impossible to complete the game without gaining a nervous breakdown. Or is it worth a try after all?

It will depend what for kind of system you got. If it is an older system you could better use DosBox. I think I will try this game.

Oldskool RPG enthusiasts tend to swear by this game, though as far as TES goes I prefer Morrowind myself. Still, despite all that bugginess, it's a great hallmark in CRPG development. Had it only been done today...

20 years from now you can run Morrowind as an application in your cellphone.

If I still have to carry a cell phone in twenty years, technology has failed.

I suspect that whether or not you need to carry your cellphone in twenty years is not so much a question of available and reasonably priced technology but rather an issue of consumer preferences and the laws of supply and demand. For example, the option to scream at the telephone to tell it who to call has existed for some years now, yet people still mash their buttons like it's 1999.

If people can call directly to my brain I'll kill my self.

Luddites need to be weeded out of the gene pool anyway.

The main problem with inter-cranial circuitry is the high speed of technological progress. You think a tattoo looks bad after 20 years, what about that antenna you have sticking out of your spine long after the new generation has moved on to gamma radiation?

Out of curiosity, does anyone know if there's a CD crack for Daggerfall out yet?

I hope you don't have any illegal intentions, Vorak will ban your entire continent.

Oh no, think of the Canadians!

Fortunately, I am the legal owner of the copy I downloaded off the internet for free.

Now honestly, if Vorak bans someone for asking about a cd-crack for a freeware game, even my fine (s)elf would think of it as being over the top.

CD-swapping is a thing of the past. DVD and Bluray swapping too, for that matter.

For the sake of my reputation I really should ban him now.
