Meh getting there. I realise that costs for tanks and cruise missiles take a fair brunt off of money to spend, and also am having problems with new members and trading with them as they all seem to never come back after they sign up.

Don't go with nations that are 1 day old, wait until they are 3 or 4 days old at least.

But even then they don't seem to want to accept anyways. I would like to threaten them but that will only make things much more worse I think.

Offer them a Foreign Aid package, bribery works wonders.

    Search for Frigoans :)
My nations is only 3 days old, so it still sucks, but count me in.

Edit: when was 20% tax rate too high?

Mines at 28%, income is more important than citizen happiness. Provided that your happiness doesn't go below zero.

Oh, I don't think wobbler put it right. I'm not creating an alliance BUT if any one here creates one, then count me in. Name on the land is Transparent Area, leader: Baldrug.

Most (assume) groups have at least a few bigger nations on thier side with a handful of nukes, or they'd be gone already.

Plus, they'd probably welcome new blood, so we wouldn't have to worry about someone getting left out.

    :)

Depending of what you think is small, my alliance, cross-x, only has about 20 members, a few of them are new members and they are looking for more members.

    This is the forum

Hey, don't worry about it. I've already gained about 19 strength a day for the past 7 days. My efficiency only keeps rising, due to my constant purchases of infrastructure and technology. Then again...I've got some considerable experience behind my nation.
The more the merrier! One step closer to getting the House of Lords their own mask!
However, to keep your nation safe, it's recommended that you join an alliance soon. Rogue nations are growing more and more numerous; however, this means they have no allies, and can therefore be crushed without a second thought. If a rogue nation attacks any of you newer players, give me a shout.
    Ruler: Grossenschwamm
    Nation: Urwaldland
    Strength: 135.43

I'm currently in the NAAC, the best alliance ever.
That, and noone from the NAAC ever attacked me, unlike those asshats from ODN and GATO.
My estimate of "over 1000 in a month" seems a bit outlandish, unless I can pull a miracle out of my ass. I might only be able to go up to 6 or 700. Then again... :D

Meh its a start. But it is not just you, there needs to be more than one with strength over 1000. Maybe we should leave things for a while until some of the nations become much stronger.
