If you want to leave you can, its just a scare tactic. Just make sure that you don't owe them anything, pay back any aid that you have recieved and agree to never attack an NPO alligned nation.

Stick to that last bit to, if you leave and then turn on them, you won't last long.

But don't leave unless you are serious about this, About 5 new alliances a day get founded, so this may never get off the ground. Get everyone together first and build up their nations, then when they have started, form your alliance. Otherwise you'll be alone.

Suit yourself, I'll help if you can recruit the members.

Try the Roleplayers out first, they might actually enjoy CN.

I suppose the closest thing to it is Nation States.

Its a nation simulation, so you basically are the head of government and run the place. You decide how to deal with trade, immigration, war, etc.

The concept behind the game is that in the near future WWIII occured and that the world once again cosists of city states, rather than nations.

You have different military catergories you can pick from, many alliances you can join and the name of the game is to build the strongest nation you can.

They've just made an interesting rule change. Previously you could only go to war with nations around about your equal in strength. Now you can go to war with someone within 50% of your strength. I think war is about to get even more common.

And maybe more of the smaller and weaker nations will get thrown in to anarchy then?

On another note Gross just tried to convince them to give him a head start and give him his old nation back.

Hah, yeah. I doubt it would happen. I'm just too lazy to build myself up twice.

If you get yourself a half decent resource combination you'll climb the ladder pretty fast, you can bargain with people who want your resources for Foreign Aid.

How old was your nation before you let it diminish the first time?

Meh sign up. As long as you don't go around bombing nations and you have the right allies, you should be alright.

No you have to join one of the already decided alliances. For example Vorak is part of one called "The Grey Council", I am in one called NPO. Unless you have a heap of friends, whom are within themselves very strong, you have to ally with one of the larger organisations.
You can find these on the cyber nations forum.
