Yeah, I can't seem to add any. There is no 'Portraits' folder, nor is there a 'portrait.mes' file. Er... Does anyone have a clue on what might be wrong? Any patch or something I'm missing´?
I'm not exactly an expert on this, but I think reading the manual would be helpful. I've got it, but I'm lazy and won't get it for you. As far as I can remember, though, you have to MAKE those folders and files. I'm sure someone like DU (if he's reading) can point the way to an unDAT utility, and you can edit the one that the game already uses...it's easier that way, because then you have a template to follow of sorts. Course, you need proper portraits as well...
The manual claims that there is help on "Arcanum User Editing" on the installation disk, but there is none. On the Arcanum website they have clear help on how to add your own portraits, but again; I do not have a Portraits directory and not a portrait.mes. God this is confusing. :-?
Vet du, jag tror att det räcker med att göra en egen mapp och döpa den till "Portraits". Om jag inte minns helt uppåt väggarna fel så var det så jag gjorde (har nyligen installerat om datorn så jag kan inte kolla). Men jag är ganska säker på att jag aldrig behövde bry mig om den där .mes filen. Prova och se om det fungerar.
Jo, jag har gjort en sådan mapp. Men det funkar inte, så jag antar att jag behöver mes-filen (höhö).
