    Very nice, Kijikun.

If I ever figure out how to create a proto for a readable book I'll get in touch with you.

Sounds a lot like a special Fortress hero from Heroes of Might and Magic III. But it might just be a coincidence.

rroyo: Thanks. :) If you want to include these in the next build of A:WIP be my guest.

Transparent Painting: I was thinking more along the lines of the Fire Witch from Enchanted Forest Chronicles, I've sadly never played the game you mention.

Awww, damn. I don't have a clue what Enchanted Forest Chronicles is, but I mean... Fire Witches can't be that common, can they?

It was series of fantasy novels by Patrica C Wrede. Kinda snarky and made fun of the standard fairy tale tropes. Talking with Dragons (the one that features the Fire Witch) was published in 1985, so I'm not sure who was inspired if at all by who.

Richard Dean Anderson? You must mean Killian Darkwater.

I just saw Twilight for the first and last time last night. How many vampire canons can one author possibly eschew?

The Sparklepire... Meyer does such a job of parodying herself that I can't actually riff on her. That's how bad Twilight is.
