   OK, we've talked about races, weapons, transport, etc.
   
   I propose custom backgrounds to be a part of the programing, you should be able to create a brief history and distribute point accordingly. This would allow much more interesting characters to become available.

   Hmm? We can already create custom backgrounds if we wish. Or are you proposing that it be handled within the game at character creation? That would indeed be spiffy, though I have no problem with the way it works now.

   Yes, what I mean is that it would be 'spiffy' indeed if you could make backgrounds as part of the game
