Yes, they all look quite spiffy.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to be in the corner, glaring at you custom avvie folks while angrily drinking milk.

Just blow Vorak's post count out the window, it'll make you feel better. :)

And the new avatars look nice! Congrats all.

Yes, the avatars are really cool.

And DU, can't we ban that Hellboko fucktards IP or something?

I hear the fucker sits on various Internet cafés, which might make it a tad difficult. Still, I'd rather have half the Internet blocked out from this place than one more day with that asshat.

Instead of blocking IPs, perhaps there should be a policy of allowing IPs? As in, you apply for membership, the Powers That Rule Us then decide whether to accept membership, and if so allow that IP?

Mind you, I haven't a clue how all this stuff works. (And then there was that thing about dynamic IPs... hmmm... scratch plan.)

Yup, and then we get a thousand new members in a month and DU and mathboy will have to sift through all of them trying to figure out who's Hellgayos and who isn't.

I'd argue for 99,99% of them being the Hellkochukashingo, actually.

    And I don't see a downside to what you're saying. :)

On a second thought, neither do I.

    Who's up for some scripting?

I'm up for doing some semi-primitive Baldur's Gate scripting, though I fail to see the relevance to the topic at hand.

On the other hand, I could write something to give stats & alignments to the posters and perhaps even give any suspected Hellka(etc) accounts all-3s.

Not for me, no. I thought I said I didn't have a clue as to how these things actually work?

Have done, along with all his accounts to date. Any new ones will be deleted on site along with any posts they make, or posts will be edited to something humourous. Depending on the whims of the Admin at the time.

No. That would be an insane amount of work. Most of you have dynamic IPs which change every time you visit the site. I'd have to allow so many ranges that it'd be moot. Every time you visited from a new IP, you wouldn't be able to post until mathboy or I had approved it, which wouldn't be until a day or so later most likely. By then, the next time you visit, you'll have another new IP address. Basically you'd spend all your time waiting for us to approve your IP, instead of posting.

Can you really conceive of a better idea for preventing spam, though?

How about you just ban Ericom and Telefonica De España?

I tried making the forum send me an email every time a someone registered, to make me activate his account, last time Hellbokos went crazy (about a week ago), but it wouldn't send the email.
