Every possible precaution was taken. The cooler was carefully packed with those tiny styrofoam balls from a bean-bag chair. Then it was placed into a sturdy box which was filled with even more of the balls. Finally the box was set onto a small air-mattress for the trip. But somewhere during trip, just enough vibration made it through to cause the old cellophane to break.
