Crap Magic

There alot of spells that just plain suck, so I thought I'd bring the subject up.

The first one the springs to mind is Mage Lock. Have you ever had a use for this? I think I used it once to lock a chest in Black Root so I could feel safe that all my stuff wouldn't be stolen.

Squall of ice sounds pretty good when you first hear it. A deadly Icicle arrow or something but no such luck. Its rubbish. Does fuck all damage.

Body of Fire. Hmmm Im being attacked, what should I do? I know! I'll turn myself in fire so I can deal less damage and burn my armor off.

Hell Gate. Why the hell would you want to summon one of these when you could just get a much more powerful ogre so less FT.

Well they are just a few but having said that there are alot of useful spells as well. I just think they should have made all the spells useful.

 

Quench Life is also useless.

 

Quench life is far from usless except against undead.

EVERY spell is useful. Perhaps not in this game though. :grin: But did you expect to find combat magic in a college named "Divination"?
