I swear to god, I was sitting between these two guys, one of them kept talking about drug dealing and how much money he used to make etc, the other guy kept talking about taking drugs, guns, riving like an idiot, and driving while stoned. They even talked about how awesome it is to take adderall. Then the drug dealer guy got a cell phone call halfway through the class, left, came back with a plastic shopping bag, and started making these big spliff blunts out of cigars he was hollowing out in the middle of his desk. He had like 10 grams of marijuana (thats a LOT of fucking weed, trust me, like... I don't even know, 800 dollars?) in a plastic bag and like 8 cigars. Then when I was waiting to get picked up this other guy kept talking about how much it sucked that his friend had to go to jail for killing this cocksucker. Him and the druggy guy exchanged phone numbers. Then guy with the murderer friend keeps talking about where "my fucking ride is, that cocksucker," he notices a mountain bike thats not locked up, but is sitting in a bike rack in front of the hotel (the class was held in the seminar room at a resident's inne) and then he says "i'm about ready to take that bike and get the fuck out of here, you're not gonna rat on me are you?" me-no "good cya later." And he takes the bike and rides off.

The best part about this story is that these guys were all my age, were all white, and aside from the guy that stole the bike, they were wearing nearly identical Abercrombie uniforms.

The two A&F guys weren't that bad, if not slightly fucked up and totally retarded, it was all pretty funny until I met that other guy after the class was over. The other guy was a complete psycho, he was no joke.

Actually, while it's against the law, it may not necessarily be criminal.

Please tell me specifically how you didn't contradict yourself in that post? The definition of criminality is that it breaks the law, hence Sleeks speeding would be defined as a criminal act.

I think you may be confusing criminality and morality or something. Like, speeding being less of a crime than robbery or so. But it's still criminal. :)

Nope, here in some states, marijuana has been decriminalised, yet theres a fine for its possession. So its illeggal yet not criminal.

Well, its not a crime, traffic violations are only criminal if it involves killing someone, or running from the cops, or going like 125 through a school zone.

Just because something is legal in one part of the world, doesn't mean that applies everywhere; pot is illegal here.

Sleek, you are a criminal. You have committed a crime, hence you are a criminal. You aren't a FELON, because you haven't committed a FELONY.

    Umm...

Whatever, being a criminal for something like that doesn't make me feel bad. I did my time, I paid the fine. For how long am I a "criminal" anyway? I don't even have to tell potential employers that this even happened to me. In terms of my own views of morality and what being a criminal means, I am not a criminal. The guy that stole the bike is a criminal. What I did didn't affect anyone, or put anyone but myself in "danger" (yeah right) and I didn't even stand a chance of making money from it, so I guess that makes me a pretty shitty criminal.

It's almost like the distinction between illegal and unlawful.

What the fuck? I was using it as an example. When did I imply that it wasn't illegal in other parts. I was making the distiction between illegal and criminal.
Besides, something can be illegal yet not criminal. For instance, getting a parking fine doesn't make you a criminal.
