Which NPCs can this be used on? I want to look at their scripts / dialogue to see how it is done. Or if you already know how this is scripted, please tell me. {6}{I have a problem folding an elf and a half-orc together. -Leonard}
A little late, but meh. You can use conjure spirit on: Myrh (Spelling?) the elf in Stillwater. Professor James at the elven ruins One of the corpses from the Caladon murders The corpse in the cave at the Crash Site Raven (If you follow the evil path) The surly elf in quintara who Jormund is accused of killing (Only after he dies though not if you kill him) Min Gorrad (Spelling?) This may not be all of them but its the best I can do.
A few additions to that list: Loghaire Gilbert Bates Pelonius Schuyler (though he refuses to really talk to anyone except his sons) I have this nagging feeling there are a few I've forgotten, but I guess it will come to me given time.
Not at all (I'm still holding out hope for an answer to my questions from weeks ago). Time to investigate... ...investigation complete. First of all it seemed stupidly simple: IF Attachee is dead THEN X ELSE Y But I couldn't get it to work. 20 dead gnomes later...still couldn't get it to work. Just as I was about to give up I looked into properties of the script (something I never do) and there it was. There is a tick box for Death speech which has to be ticked along with the script condition. Simple as that. However I also noticed a Surrender speech box. So my next question is, which characters have a surrender speech before they die?
All I can think of is the speech that Kendrick Wales (In Ashbury) gives just prior to his death about how sorry he is for causing so much trouble for the Misk family.
Kendrick doesn't have a surrender or death speech. The "dying" Kendrick is actually a different NPC. The original kendrick is toggled off and the prone kendrick is toggled on. The bandit has a death speech. I always play as a good aligned diplomat character so I think I've missed a lot of the fights. Any other suggestions for fights in which the enemy stops fighting to speak to you?
I looked at the first bandit (Charles Brehgo), who has a death speech. I forgot that it is the second bandit who has the artifact. The second bandit (Simon Fahrkus) does indeed have both a death and surrender speech. In case anyone is interested, the surrender speech basically works just like a death speech.
