Your call, but don't bitch about the cold if it does happen. You'll be going up cradle mountain via towrope if you do...

    Scandinavian forest sounds fun though.

That might be the only LARP thing I could ever classify as "awesome"

Even seeing that / taking photos with them should be great.

The best place to live is somewhere at the coast, with forests, fruitful land, and some mines with rich resources.

The only problem is a very high chance that you will have dangerous tropical storms there.

I'd be more worried about tropical diseases, myself.

Cute, but no. What you do is you strip them to their undies and dangle them JUST over the Tamar River, then wait for the tide to come in.

I was literally struggling to recall the name of that series, yet now that I know, the theme tune takes over my head with ease. In retrospect, it was terrible, yet I loved it. Oh well. Strange things happen.

So that's the name of the series, thanks. I've seen some episodes of the first season, so I can't remember much of it.

PS: Has anyone seen these series: Skippy and The Flying Doctors?

Although the whole cosplay is quite nice in terms of suit quality, those real life power armors look somewhat whimpy and mizerable. Mearly looking at them makes me sads. It's like discovering that Sylvester Stallone is 178 cm high. Oh god make them stop.

There was a series called 'Skippy the Bush Kangaroo' that was on when my parents were kids. I think it had the Flying Doctors (Australian medical service for isolated areas) in it.

Maybe it got rebranded as 'Skippy and the Flying Doctors' overseas?

I think they may have done a Skippy cartoon a few years later but the original was done with a combination of real kangaroos and parts of formerly alive kangaroos made into puppets.

The Russian chick in Purple Robes (Robes you got from that bridge guard? Or scientology robes?) is quite sexy though. That's the thing that did it for me.

Oh, and the decorations are quite nice.

Note: The reason power armor looks wimpy is because they had those suits made up to their body specifications and they don't have broad shoulders. The helmet looks okay but the rest looks like "the little man syndrome".

None. The Bridgekeeper doesn't really exist in the serious Fallout universe, while they are no scientologists in Fallout, only Hubologists, remember! They have grey robes, though.
Those robed ones would be members of the Children of the Cathedral if not for the fact, that they have the Brotherhood emblem. Scribes had brown robes while the elders had blue ones, so this is either a great example of fail or a cheap way to have two roleplays with one costume (Brotherhood scribe when the emblem is visable and Child of the Cathedral when it's not).

That is true, but knowing it doesn't change the fact that it looks lame. When something can't be done right it's sometimes better to not do it at all.

Your LARP knowledge and criticism are also a great example of fail.

Considering her hotness (Russian style :p), maybe that girl was ordered from the Corsican Brothers by the Brotherhood of Steel to, you know, comfort Knights =)

They can get round/wide shoulderpads and large biceps (upper arm guards?) to look larger. A larger chestplate would be fitting too.

And yes, it does look lame. But being in fallout universe is worth it I guess. Actually, it is worth almost anything.

LARP knowledge may be fail, but Fallout knowledge sure as hell isn't.

I really like those power armor mock-ups. In the wearer's defense, I think part of the broadness of the shoulders in the game is due to the isometric perspective of Fallout, and is not just due to the build of the Brotherhood of Steel. However, those are some scrawny fans.
And the girl's not that good looking.

She's mid-low to average at best, but her hotness is artificially amplified due to the fact she's in a CotC/BoS robe.

    Gods almighty.
It’s not often I come back from a weekend and find a thread advanced three pages.

Going back a day or so…

    Arthgon: I like the title.
... and given that and some of your subsequent posts dealing with the mishandling of Xiao’s titles..
Don't make me pummel you with random items I find in her lab.

Waiting for 6 hours just for the tide to come in is probably more punishing for you than them, though. Unless you hang them from a tree or something, that could work.
